Curse of the Class of 2009..?

On-Air: Do you trust the Catholic church with the education of your children ?

One of the “darkest chapters” in Ireland’s history is how the Irish Deputy Prime Minister refers to the abuse of children in Catholic- run institutions.

Thousands of children were abused over 60 years according to a report which took 9 years to produce but will NOT be used for criminal prosecutions.

On Your Bike…

I’ve just taken a Royal Enfield motorbike for a test drive at their factory in Chennai.  (writes Dan Isaacs of Newshour) -Fantastic. I’ve had a bit of a thing for them ever since I lived in India a year or two back. Nearly bought one but my wife put the khybosh on it. The ‘Bullet’ is a classic British bike from the 50s, still being produced in India today. Was it a Bullet Steve McQueen tried to make his get away on in the Great Escape?

Talking Points: 22 May

That’s exactly what this Texan Mayor has done after it emerged that he’d fallen in love with his gay partner, who also happens to be an illegal immigrant from Mexico.
