Saturday will be one year since the assasination of Pakistani politician Benazir Bhutto. It marked the beginning of a tumultuous twelve months: the handover from military to civilian rule, a resurgent Taleban, bombings of civilian and military targets, the global economic downturn and now, spiralling relations with India after the Mumbai attacks.
So, with all this in mind, at this pivotal time in Pakistan’s history, today we’re asking what is the future for this country that is so crucial to both the West and the East?
