A leading state-owned firm in Dubai has announced  it will be delaying debt repayments for six months, plunging markets into mayhem.

Trina graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Monroe College in New York in April. A full three months later, Trina says she hasn’t been able to get a job and so she is suing the college for the $70,000 she spent in tuition fees.

The 700 billion dollar rescue US deal has stalled. The proposal indicates each American taxpayer will pay out 5,300 dollars to rescue the banking system and save the world economy from catastrophe.

Emergency talks are continuing in the US over securing the seven hundred billion dollar rescue package for the US economy. While in the UK the Church of England’s two most senior clerics have called the bankers and speculators behind the credit crisis “bank robbers” and “asset strippers.”

It’s been a jittery week to say the least on the world financial markets. We’ve seen US investment bank Lehman brothers go bust, Merrill Lynch being forced to sell itself to Bank of America, a multi billion dollar bailout of insurance giant AIG and a takeover of British bank HBOS by rival Lloyds TSB.
