What should Obama’s top policy priority be?

There’s no change in the topic you all want to talk about – it’s Obama, Obama, Obama. Your reaction over the past two days to Barack Obama’s election victory has been incredible (our phone system is definitely looking forward to a break over the weekend). You’ve talked about the historical significance of his victory, whether he’s given you new hope in your life, and whether this election has changed the way you see the US.

On air: Do you trust nuclear power?

About 100 staff at a nuclear plant in southern France have been exposed to a low dose of radiation. They were “slightly contaminated” by radioactive particles that escaped from a pipe at a reactor complex in Tricastin, according to power firm EDF who run the plant. The incident comes two weeks after a leak forced the temporary closure of a reactor at the Tricastin facility and is the fourth incident at a French nuclear site in recent weeks.
