On air: Cuba : a “permanent struggle” ?

Cuban leader Raul Castro celebrated 50 years since the revolution by telling people that :

“The enemy will never cease to be aggressive, treacherous and dominant.It is time to reflect on the future, on the next 50 years when we shall continue to struggle incessantly.I’m not trying to scare anyone, this is the truth”

Is the Western media biased against Fidel?

Miriam who took part in our programme on Fidel Castro complained after the show that I wasn’t neutral and was anti-Castro. Rabin in Kathmandu said much the same in an email.

‘You were constantly trying to imply that Castro is not a hero or worse Castro is a bad ruler. I don’t think that’s what we call neutrality,’ is some of what she said.
