On air: So what’s the answer?

calais fireTo the right is one of the hundreds of refugees – mainly Afghans -camped out in a place called “the jungle” near Calais in northern France, hoping to make it across the Channel to Britain.

This week, French police broke up the camp- an operation criticised by refugee groups.

Is it time to open our borders?

If you do so, where is the place to go?” That’s a question for French authorities who now have to decide what to do with the hundreds of illegal migrants they have just evicted, following this morning’s clearing of the migrant camp in Calais.
