Do you believe Obama?

ObamaPresident Obama will be giving a ‘landmark’ speech in Cairo today and we plan to do a live blog while he’s speaking.

We’ll talk about what Obama is saying, and post what our BBC reporters make of it. Of course we want to know what you think, so post your comments here, email worldhaveyoursay@bbc.com, or text +44 77 86 20 60 80 and we’ll include those too.

What is Obama really trying to achieve? A US image make-over? To heal the rift with the muslim world? Or to tell us his plans for Israel / Palestine? Do you believe him and can he do it?

Bernard Finel thinks he can’t smooth things over. This blogger thinks he is being unfair to Israel. And this view says anti-american feeling is caused by US support for Arab dictators not their support for Israel.
