Ros, it is very unfortunate that this Swine Flu outbreak has occurred just now. I’m new to this forum, so am not sure if you and the team are in Mexico for this particular story or if you were planning your trip to Mexico for other reasons. If there were other reasons, I’d like to hear what those stories were going to be about. As for the Swine Flu outbreak being bad for business in Mexico City, what a terrible fortune the people of that city. The economy wasn’t great to begin with and now this! And it’s not just the street vendors. The hit on the tourist trade will be long felt, and even the locals are being effected, with schools, neighborhood restaurants, bars, even churches are being told to close or in some way limit their usual business practices. I’m sad for everyone effected.
