I think first every country should take drastic steps to secure their own and as far as the U.S. stimulus going to other countries, most of us are biting our nails and tongues just seeing our money pay for our own business colapses and we would have a very hard time watching that money go EVEN FURTHER out of our hands.

But! We need to be accountable, all nations, and keep the trade lines open so that through support we can help eachother get back on or feet.

Every nation needs to invest in Green technology!

The roots of the economic crisis started in the U.S. and the root solution should start in the U.S. I am disappointed but not supprised the way the new U.S. president is dealing with this issue especially the economic stimulus package he approved for american citizens. Wolrld leaders need to participate but the U.S. have a big part to play.

Barack Obama has masses of balls to be juggling – not in the least the Health Care issues in the USA.
It is almost as if the legacy left by Bush/Cheney is to keep him from doing anything effective, so that the Republicans can get a new clone like Sarah Palin in in 4 years to continue ripping people off.

My Agenda is that the climate is more important than saving GM and banks.
People are the most important and thus Health Care is also #1.
As a pacifist, I would not rush into Afghanistan to repeat the mistakes of the CCCP and I’d rather throw money at American homeless than Pakistanis, but then I prefer low crime rates, education and peace to waging wars on foreign soils.
    Good luck to everybody.

Since these gentlemen clearly have foresight that we don’t have maybe they should take their collective crystal balls and go to Las Vegas and we would solve all our economic problems in one feel swoop!

The current wave of recession was caused by greed. It should be fairly clear to all humans now that we are interdependent on this globe. No man or group may trifle with Nature and go scott-free.
The current basis of conduct of any and all business is ensuring that the social responsibility component of any and all business decisions are preponderant. Only those decisions that accommodate the welfare of the majority will lead to wealth in real terms.
Those who hoodwink people to buy comfort deceive themselves. The apparently high and mighty who make money riding rough shod on others, deceive themselves. No fulfillment will come their way in this incarnation or other incarnations.
What should matter to every citizen of the world is clean thoughts and volitions and exertions to ensure that what one does brings real joy to all.

There are 4 discussions here on the G20. Haven’t you got anything else to talk about? I can assure you that the G20 have got plenty of other things to talk about especially when they return to their “home” nations.
