There`s nothing beyond the needs of Security of Isreal and its people in the tomorrow elections as i believe voters could be pondering about this night.
Who profits from all the vast military expenditure that Israel spends on its security? Where are the vested interests is any?

I simply do not understand how Israel thinks that it can continue to effectively function as a state with these constant attacks on both sides. Is this to continue forever? For there will come a time when American support will wane, inevitably.

No- they are more akin to Milton Keynes and other new towns that the British governemnt has built over the last 60 years. Would you accept that English people could not live in part of England?
Sadly, once again we have elections that are dominated by the Palestinian issue when we all know that whatever party is in charge they will all come to the same deal, provided of course that the PA will one day realize that if they continue to demand that Israel commit suicide the peace talks will go knowhere – and that is why none of us think that much will move anyway. Meanwhile there is no discussion of economics, health, education, pensions, taxes the things that really matter to us – just the same endless talk about a peace treaty that we all see as pie in the sky because of Abu Mazen;s complete inflexibility.
I also think that the Middle East Peace Process is of concern for the citizen of Israel…

Hmm, I suppose whatever matters to human beings, right?
Let’s not forget that Israelis are human beings, contrary to BBC reports.
Everything under the sun except taking off those blinkers.
