Join our new Facebook Fan Page

Some of the team at the Eden Project

We’re always up for new ways for people to access WHYS.

So, we’ve set up a Facebook Fan Page  a) to find out if we actually have any fans and b) where you can pull apart each question we ask, and tell us what you think of the show.

Hopefully, it will complement the blog by being “open all hours”.

At the page, you can have a look at the full Flickr set of  photos of the team, click to hear our podcasts and see the latest WHYS blog posts.  Ok, a bit like the blog but here it’s all in one place.

We might ask you to vote on the issue of the day with the Facebook poll.

Just sign into your Facebook account, click on this link to go to the fan page, and join WHYS on Facebook.

    Hello
Z palestinian school which was hit by israel, did it contain Hamass militants??
or only innocent children were killed n wounded?!!!! The True Terrorist Is Israel Itself..
The palestinian People through the Hamass are only defending themselves since they have no other choice.!!!

Well, it is unfortunate that Israel’s military action in Gaza has evoked such reactions in you. Isreal has the right to protect itself, its citizens and properties, since the military action was preceded by series of missile strikes within her own territory by the Palestinian extremists forces. However, what we have to consider is whether the colleteral damage in the Gaza strip, happened despite deliberate efforts to avoid them on Israel’s part or not?

You know, I am reminded of a passage of Scripture in Genesis 34:30 when looking at the current behavior of Israel. It seems to discribe the situation – again… I am greatly saddened by this sorry state of affairs… Jacob said “You have troubled me by making me obnoxious among the inhabitants of the land…”

I seem to have found myself in a juxtaposition between two forms of fundamental extremisms when considering your request of moderation. The entire situation is based in religious belief and right. The UN set the situation up under set preconditions ~ conditions entirely ignored by the favored party after the fact. A cause to expire the arrangement. Israel needs to abide by the 1967 peace or risk foreclosure. The UN set it up ~ they can dismantle it by right.
