On air: When should children be taken away from their parents?

The UK papers, news message boards and blogs have been dominated over the last few days with stories questioning how a baby, who suffered horrendous abuse at the hands of it’s mother and two men, was killed in his own home despite regular visits from care workers. Sadly it’s not the first case.

What is the best way to protect children; keep them with their parents and monitored by care workers, or put them in care? What about when mistakes are made? What constitutes being unfaithful?

Amy and David’s story sounds like a classic divorce case except that the most crucial part of it hasn’t happened in real life; the unfaithful part. Talking Points 14th November

Hi there, this is Shaimaa. It’s been an exciting week here at World Have Your Say (not that all our other weeks aren’t exciting of course!). We started it with asking about terrorism and the death penalty, we then went to AJ’s flat where you talked to him and his friends about living with gangs and yesterday you put your questions to the Taleban.
