‘Chinese authorities declined the White House’s request to have the town hall broadcast nationally. Each of the 400-plus students had to attend a pre-talk “lecture and meeting” to learn their talking points. Chinese news sites that originally reported Obama’s remarks about an open Internet and universal rights were quickly censored.’
Hypocrite or wise move? Is allowing himself to be censored the sacrifice President Obama has to make to have China on side?
President Obama’s call for a review of US nuclear capacity is currently underway at the Pentagon. It’s got many of you asking who’s side Obama is on. Here’s some more information on what the review will include . He’s committing “the worst kind of treason” says blogger Cassy Fiano - do you agree? Please add your thoughts to this post….over to you.

Barack Obama has told the world what tickles his musical fancy. Howlin’ Wolf, Stevie Wonder, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and Jay Z tick most of the electoral demographic boxes on his wannabe presidential ipod (where’s the Latino artist though?) What might be on his rival John McCain’s MP3 player? Any suggestions?
You may have noticed recently that Iraq has been appearing far less in the news than it did a year ago. Last month there were fewer American casualties in the country than at any time since the 2003 invasion.
